TV, Theater, Live Events Audience Serviced:

High-end retail displays, museum exhibits, and public art installations. We are seeking a painter or an individual willing to learn how to paint using an HVLP/Airless. Ideal candidates would be motivated, hardworking, detail oriented, and unafraid to get their hands dirty. A willingness to learn how to mix paint and the ability to use an HVLP is preferred. The Opportunity ShowFab is a specialty fabrication company serving the broadcast, live entertainment, experiential, luxury retail, exhibit, and themed entertainment industries. We bring creative ideas, technical problem solving, and skilled fabrication together to turn client visions into physical reality. Our projects move from concept and estimating through technical design, fabrication, logistics, and installation.

Primary Job Duties:

Spray scenery with FR paint Spray metal pieces with rust proof paint Mix paint additive into each 5 gallon bucket Ability to lift at least 45 lbs. i.e.. a full 5 gallon of paint Properly tape off sections (masking) of tools for spraying or protection Mix and apply putty for patching Work with warehouse crews to get scenery in and out the booth Changing out booth air filters Cleaning and dissembling HVLP spray guns Keeping up with paint stock Rolling Scenery Benefits after 90 days. PTO for sick/vacation. The typical work week is Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm, with occasional overtime on weekends when necessary to fulfill job deadlines.
