Job Description
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces for coating Mix and apply powder coatings using spray guns in a spray booth Monitor curing ovens and ensure parts are baked at appropriate temperatures and durations Inspect workpieces for quality, uniformity, and coverage before and after coating Mask and unmask parts as required to protect areas from coating Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment Track job progress and record necessary information on work orders Work with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be able to PASS drug test Must be able to pass FIT test and pulmonary test Painting experience preferred Good communication is a necessary skill Willing to learn and take notes if needed This position will also include other duties and cross training will be provided if necessary.
