Cincinnati Incorporated is seeking a Painter, Spray Finisher to sand, prep and paint surfaces of machines and machine parts of all products. Also clean, deburr and assemble simple components. This is a hands-on manufacturing role where quality, attention to detail, and a professional finished appearance matter. Duties and Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL
Receive work assignments, obtain blueprints or drawings, obtain parts and materials for assemblies, manually or using hand cart.
Using crane or hoist, moves turn and position workpieces or assemblies
Clean, remove burrs and rough surfaces and otherwise prepare metal parts with hand file or portable power tools. Check alignments and clearances using ordinary measuring tools and gauges.
Secure parts together by bolting, pinning, driving, riveting, etc. as required.
May operate press to force bearings into sleeves and flatten rivets. May set up and operate air powered hone.
Dress, grind or sharpen own tools as required, match mark various parts and sections when required
Clean machine surfaces with solvent as required
Mask surfaces; prepare surfaces be filling holes with plaster; sand plaster surfaces for excellent appearance
Paint finish machines and parts or assemblies to specified requirement
Clean all equipment after use
May be required to assist sub-assemblers and machine builders
May assist other assemblers with rigging and material moving
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and perform all assignments in a safe manner and in accordance with established quality procedures
REQUIRED
1 to 2 years
Prior industrial painting experience
Prior HVLP painting experience
Auto body repair experience
Able to wear respirator while painting
Keen attention to detail
High mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings for assembly
Able to distinguish colors
Proficiency with airless air assist paint system
Tools, Technology and Equipment Used:
Remote overhead crane, hoist, arbor and hydraulic hand presses, drills, taps, pedestal bench surface grinder, portable power tools, hand tools, ladders, scaffolds, pneumatic and electric sanders, HVLP paint gun, electrostatic paint gun

Physical Demands:
This position is very active and requires frequent standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing of ladders. Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. frequently. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment can be loud occasionally. This is a high-travel position with significant overnight travel required.
