Deliver the standard guest safety briefing to every guest before their session. Clear, consistent, every time. Monitor the play floor during active sessions: keep an eye on multiple guests simultaneously, issue time warnings, handle unit swaps, and manage the flow of the zone. Perform basic end-of-session checks on RC units: inspect for visible damage, swap batteries, and flag anything that needs attention to the shift lead. Keep the RC play zone and retail floor clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times.

Support the retail area:

assist guests with product questions, process retail sales through POS, and keep shelves stocked and organized. Support birthday parties, group events, and private sessions from setup through breakdown. Log equipment issues, guest incidents, and session notes accurately and pass them to the shift lead. Cross-train on basic cafe counter support and step in to assist during high-traffic periods. Role Summary Cafe // 2.4, also called Cafe Two Four, is a completely new experience in Atlanta. One part coffee shop, three parts hobby and retail. As a Guest Experience Associate, you're the person who puts the RC (remote controlled vehicle) in someone's hands for the first time, walks them through the play zone, keeps the floor running, and makes sure every guest leaves wanting to come back. We're looking for someone who is naturally good with people of every age, comfortable in a fast-moving environment, and genuinely excited to share the RC and hobby world with guests who may never have touched a controller before. If you're already into RC vehicles, scale modeling, 3D printing, or any corner of the maker and hobby space, this role was built for you. Your enthusiasm for the hobby isn't just welcome here. It's part of the job. What We're Looking For A guest-first attitude. You genuinely enjoy making people feel welcome and you show it without being asked. The ability to track multiple things at once. On a busy session, you might have eight guests on the floor, a retail question at the counter, and a unit that needs a battery swap. You can handle that without losing your composure. Highly organized. You notice when things are out of place, you follow through on tasks, and you don't let small details fall through the cracks. Comfortable with people of every age and skill level. Kids with their first RC and adults who are familiar with the hobby, both deserve the same quality experience from you. Strong communicator. You ask good questions, you listen, and you explain things in a way that actually lands. Reliable and team-oriented. You show up on time, you support your teammates, and you take ownership of your section of the floor. Interest in RC vehicles, hobby culture, or hands-on experiences is a genuine plus. But if you have the right attitude, we will teach you everything else you need to know. Starting pay $15 hourly, 25-30 hours per week, Tuesday to Sunday.
