ATS. JOB SUMMARY
The Controls Technician is a key player in the ATS team. This highly technical role is responsible for executing start-up functions on mechanical systems based on project plans, specifications, and other contract documents, as well as conducting analysis of the performance of building control systems at an individual building level. Ensuring documentation is accurate and complete is a high priority for this position. This role will be called upon to collaborate with and provide project-engineering support as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Control program use, including: Trend Logs, Zones, Alarms, Reports, Back up, Graphics, minor DDC code modifications Checkout of DDC (Direct Digital Control) components Start-up of Building Control Systems Commissioning of Building Control Systems Record and update drawings Execute field changes/directives Troubleshoot component and equipment problems Training (Owner and peer) Assist Project Engineer with field tasks/coordination Panel Construction Field Documentation (As Build drawings, Check-out sheets, UL Panel Tags) Manage time to complete assignments on time and within budget
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proven troubleshooting skills High level of computer hardware and software skills Knowledge of DDC Control Theory and Applications Ability to work independently and unsupervised Excellent interactive skills Solid communication skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires consistent physical work at a project jobsite, spending most of your time on your feet. Project jobsites present typical construction and outdoor conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment for safety purposes. Lifting and exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently is required. Must be comfortable climbing a ladder regularly. Small repetitive motions and use of small tools is included.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Full-time, non-exempt Typical Monday - Friday working hours with flexibility as needed Local travel required
CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE AA
