I'm working with a leading HVAC service organization that is looking to add a Lead Chiller Technician to their team in the Madison County area for a large Datacenter Project. This is a position where accommodation, travel, food would all be provided. This is a senior-level field position for a technician who can take ownership of the toughest chiller issues, provide technical leadership to other technicians, and serve as the go-to person for complex diagnostics and commissioning. What you'll be doing: Troubleshoot complex chiller, HVAC, electrical, and controls issues Lead startup, commissioning, and equipment performance troubleshooting Diagnose manufacturer defects and manage warranty-related repairs Work through controls, sensors, safeties, wiring, boards, and component-level issues Support and mentor other service technicians on difficult calls Communicate directly with customers, manufacturers, and management What they're looking for: Strong commercial/industrial chiller experience Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic ability Experience with startup/commissioning and controls Ability to lead technically without needing constant supervision Professional communication and strong customer-facing skills Why consider it: This is an opportunity to step into the top technical field position within a service team, with significant responsibility for complex equipment, customer outcomes, and developing other technicians.
