If you are passionate about kids and crafts, this is the perfect opportunity to earn extra cash while doing what you love. This job is for someone who super loves kids (ages 4-12) and is a host with the most. You'll teach a combination of our Open Workshop sessions and facilitate birthday parties. You know your way around craft supplies and, even better if you can work a bandsaw. You are a real people person and enjoy creating memorable experiences. Must be independent, super reliable, and consistent. Kids are counting on you. $20-22/hour Paid sick leave

SHIFT:

8:30-3:30 pm Saturdays 9-10am Wake & Make Family Open Workshop 10:30-12:30pm Party or Prep/Clean 1:30-3pm

Maker Club Open Workshop Ideal Applicant:

Consistently available on Saturdays Confident, positive, personable, and upbeat personality and presence You're creative! You love to throw a good party You really LOVE and respect children 2+ years teaching kids ages 5-11 Experience teaching arts and crafts Confident with small power tools (bandsaw, drill press, etc) Strong classroom management Ability to form positive and meaningful relationships with kids Organized and tidy (you will be responsible for clean-up and stocking side work) Great time management Independent Open to feedback Willing to solve problems as they arise Great communication with adults and kids Ability to pass a background check 21+ years old CPR/First Aid Cert. (we can help with this) Reliable personal transportation
