Job Description

Job Overview HDS Ceramists are responsible for fabricating, contouring, staining, glazing, and finishing high-quality dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, veneers, implant-supported restorations, and other ceramic prosthetics. The role requires strong artistic ability, attention to detail, and knowledge of dental materials and laboratory procedures, to ensure restorations meet the functional and aesthetic requirements prescribed by each dentist. Responsibilities Read, interpret, and complete restorations according to the RX form. Contour and finalize crowns with proper anatomy, margin, color, contacts and occlusion Follow case production schedule to ensure meeting each work ticket completion date Work closely with team members and management daily. Other duties when requested or assigned Requirements Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English and the prescriptions received from dentists Strong understanding of occlusion, function and form. Strong knowledge of anterior contour, esthetics and material selection preferred Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to learn Harrison production methods and follow them consistently Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively Able to work both independently and as a valuable team member Strong problem-solving skills Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality EDUCATION and

EXPERIENCE

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Previous dental lab experience preferred Successful history of having worked as a team member and independently

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Pay:

$23.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
