Job Description

ARC Fabricators has an immediate need to hire a Paint Shop Technician. We are looking for a detail-oriented Paint Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience working in a shop painting automobiles and equipment. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work and has an eye for detail. Why Join the Team? $20.00

Monday

•Friday 6:00am

•3:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to follow instructions Collaborating directly with plant manager, shop supervisor, customer, drafter, and peers to produce finished products Proficient in modern painting techniques and equipment Using manual and power tools for finish grinding applications Reading, understanding, and following detailed drawings and blueprint specifications Performing all job functions and using all equipment safely by following all safety policies and good housekeeping practices Handling other duties as assigned within the scope of the position

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 2+ years of experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide inches and pounds, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to read and understand tape measurers and calculators Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Work Environment:
