Mobile Auto Detailing Technician (Full-Time) D&T Mobile Detailing | Charlottesville, VA D&T Mobile Detailing is a premium mobile detailing company serving Charlottesville and Albemarle County. We bring professional detailing, paint correction, and ceramic coatings to our clients' homes and workplaces. We're hiring a full-time technician who will learn our system, run jobs on their own, and become the face of D&T for our clients. Detailing experience is preferred. If you're new to detailing, you'll need a strong work ethic, a quick learning curve, and the drive to master the craft. What You'll Do Run full interior and exterior details at client locations, on your own after training Wash, decontaminate, vacuum, shampoo, and finish every surface to our standard Clean wheels, tires, glass, and trim Perform paint correction and ceramic coating installs (training provided) Set up, run, and maintain mobile equipment, including the pressure washer, generator, and trailer Keep the truck, trailer, and supplies clean, stocked, and organized Manage your daily schedule and job details in our booking software Greet clients, walk them through the finished vehicle, and recommend services when they fit What We're Looking For Reliable and on time, every time Able to work on your own without someone checking on you A sharp eye for detail and a need to get it right Learns fast and follows written procedures exactly Professional and confident with customers Comfortable with physical work: standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs Looking for a long-term role Requirements Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Reliable transportation to and from work Available full-time, including weekends Able to work outdoors in heat, cold, and varying conditions Able to start within one week 18 years or older Preferred Professional detailing experience Experience with paint correction or ceramic coatings Customer service or field service experience Pay and Perks $20 to $30 per hour based on experience and performance Performance bonuses Clear path to higher pay and a lead role Paid, hands-on training in paint correction and ceramic coatings Consistent full-time hours Schedule Full-time Weekend availability required Why D&T We're not a car wash.
