Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler with experience in electronics manufacturing and box build assembly . This role involves assembling mechanical and electrical components, performing wiring, and ensuring high-quality production standards in a controlled manufacturing environment. Attendance and punctuality are critical to success in this role. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical assembly of enclosures, chassis, and structural components using hand and power tools Install and connect internal electronic and mechanical components Route, secure, and organize cables and wiring harnesses following diagrams and schematics Perform point-to-point wiring and basic electrical connections Apply conformal coating to protect electronic assemblies as required Install and label external connectors, switches, and indicators Read and follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and work instructions Conduct self-inspection to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical or electrical assembly issues Document completed work and report any problems or defects Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and ESD-controlled work environment Workplace Policies & Requirements Attendance and punctuality are mandatory No cell phone usage on the production floor (devices must be stored in assigned lockers) Employees must comply with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control protocols , including: Use of facial ID system for access to ESD-safe work areas Proper use of ESD straps and/or ESD-protected flooring Adhere to required dress code standards : Closed-toe shoes (ESD-compatible with straps) Long pants required Plain, non-logo shirts only ESD smocks must be worn on the production floor (provided by company) Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in box build assembly or electronics manufacturing production Ability to read and interpret: Assembly drawings Wiring diagrams and schematics Bills of Materials (BOMs) Work instructions Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, crimpers, etc.) Knowledge of electrical wiring, cable routing, and harness assembly Familiarity with ESD procedures and best practices Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Strong communication and teamwork skills Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.00 - $24.00
