We are seeking skilled and reliable Electronics Technicians to join our talented team. This is an exciting opportunity to be an impactful contributor to a growing company. Its a 5:30AM to 2:00PM shift. This role will be located at our San Leandro, CA location, with possible work at times at our Livermore, CA location. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship.
Job Responsibilities:
Assemble more advanced or complex power distribution and control switchgear, including control cabinets, specially designed to meet customer's requirements and specifications. Work involves mounting switches, circuit breakers, and other units on prefabricated metal cabinets. Fabricate bus bar involving layout, forming, punching, drilling, and tapping; installs, aligns, and adjust components and wiring in cabinets. Construct, maintain, and test electrical systems and components. Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts. Ensure systems and components meet established specifications.
Job Requirements:
Ability to read blueprints, electrical wiring diagrams and understand simple mathematics. Understand complex plans, drawings, diagrams, blueprints and instructions in order to complete installation or practice troubleshooting of electronics systems, parts or wiring networks. Knowledge of basic electronic theory and electrical practice. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter, pullers, crimping devices, voltage and mega ohm meters etc.). A certain degree of additional responsiblity, creativity and latitude within pre-specified business processes and procedures is required.
