Ocala, FL (34474) Job Description Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Assembly Technician where you'll be responsible for assembling under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and various electrical components. You will program lights according to engineering specifications, troubleshoot circuitry, and test products to ensure they meet performance standards. This role involves reading specifications to ensure trucks are built per spec and performing functionality checks on components such as airhorns, sirens, and light packages. Responsibilities Assemble under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and various electrical components. Program lights according to engineering specifications. Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry. Test products to ensure they meet performance specifications. Read specifications to ensure trucks are built per spec. Perform functionality checks on airhorns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, and door locks. Fix quality issues and ensure assembly meets standards. Essential Skills Experience with 12 volt systems. Ability to install lights and work with hot grounds. Proficiency in wiring, blueprint reading, wire harnesses, crimping, and electrical assembly. Ability to read and use a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch. 1-2 years of automotive electrical experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts. Understanding of both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills and screw guns. Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations. Voluntary overtime is typically available on Fridays and/or Saturdays from 5:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with opportunities to stay late during the week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $21.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
