Assembler - 1st & 2nd
Shift Pay Rate:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Job SummaryWe are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Assemblers. In this role, you will learn how to assemble various components and products according to engineering specifications and customer requirements while working under the supervision of a production leader.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesWithin the first 90 days of employment, employees will be trained to:

Read and interpret work orders, manufacturing routing sheets, bills of materials, production drawings, and sample assemblies.

Position and align parts using jigs, fixtures, and other holding devices.

Assemble components using tools and methods such as crimping, staking, screwing, bolting, riveting, welding, soldering, cementing, and press fitting.

Mount electrical and mechanical components including transformers, resistors, capacitors, sockets, and integrated circuits onto chassis panels.

Connect wires, component leads, terminals, and contact points according to specifications.

Install completed assemblies and subassemblies into cases or cabinets.

Attach hardware such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches.

Perform basic machine setups that do not require a technician.

Complete preventative maintenance on automated assembly equipment.

Trim or adjust materials to meet electrical and dimensional specifications.

Conduct go/no-go testing and inspections to ensure quality standards are met.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
