Job Overview We are seeking a skilled SMT Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining surface mount technology (SMT) equipment, ensuring high-quality assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role requires a strong understanding of schematics and electrical components, as well as proficiency in using various hand and power tools. The SMT Operator will play a crucial role in the production process, contributing to the efficiency and quality of our electronic manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Operate SMT machinery for the assembly of PCBs according to specifications. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly. Perform electrical wiring and connect components as per design requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembling electronic components. Conduct routine maintenance on SMT equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot issues with machinery or assembly processes, utilizing logic controllers and ohmmeters as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in SMT operations or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of electrical concepts, including wiring and schematics. Familiarity with machining processes and assembly techniques. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Ability to work with logic controllers for troubleshooting and operational efficiency. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving technologies in the electronic manufacturing industry. Must be able to train on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks
