Job Title:

2nd Shift Assembler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to work on the 2nd shift. In this role, you will use hand and power tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and clamps to incorporate metal shells into plastics. You will run cables to assemble mold castings for batteries, add ties to band cables, and apply a mold wrap that will be heated to secure the cables. Measuring cable lengths to ensure proportionate sizing according to job orders is also a critical task. Responsibilities Use hand and power tools to assemble metal shells inside plastics. Run cables for mold castings assembly for batteries. Band cables by adding ties and apply mold wrap to be heated for securing. Measure cable lengths to ensure accuracy according to job orders. Work with various cable sizes ranging from small to large. Essential Skills Mechanically inclined. Driven, motivated, and reliable. Good attitude. 6 months or more of production experience in plastics or automation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in mold, injection molding, tool and die, machine operating, stamping, automotive mechanics, electronic assembly, and general production. Work Environment Work in a production environment with over six molding machines where conditions may become warm. The medium-sized production floor resembles a machine shop and offers a great team dynamic and supportive management. The role requires wearing steel-toed boots on site and involves training on the 1st shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM for up to a week before transitioning to the 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 12 AM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fall River, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
