Full-Time | Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM-4:30 PM SSI Electronics, Inc. is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assembler / Backup Shipping & Receiving team member. This position will primarily work in our Assembly Department and will also be fully trained as a backup for our Shipping & Receiving position. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in accurate, quality work, is willing to learn different areas of our operation, and can step in to assist with shipping and receiving as needed. Primary Responsibilities Assembly Assemble electronic components and products according to factory orders and work instructions. Read and accurately interpret factory orders and assembly instructions. Inspect assemblies and completed work for accuracy and quality. Test products to ensure they meet specifications. Identify and correct defects as needed. Perform manual assembly and other production-related tasks. Pack finished products for shipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Backup Shipping & Receiving The individual selected for this position will be trained to assist our primary Shipping & Receiving team member and provide coverage during absences.

Responsibilities will include:

Process daily customer shipments accurately and efficiently. Prepare products and paperwork for shipment. Receive incoming products and materials. Update inventory records for products being shipped. Verify quantities, part numbers, customer orders, and shipping information for accuracy. Assist with other shipping and receiving responsibilities as needed. What We're Looking For Because this position works in both Assembly and Shipping & Receiving, accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important.

Have good organizational skills. Be able to accurately read and follow written instructions and factory orders. Be willing and able to learn our shipping, receiving, and inventory processes. Work well as part of a team and be willing to assist in different areas as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Ability to perform work requiring close vision and color vision. Ability to use hands for handling small parts, components, and materials.
