Job Description
$32-$33 per hour MN-Maple Grove-10000 Mission Drive- (MN007), MN Contract

- Position Summary
- + Seeking an experienced technician to work in its Pilot & Pre-Production Lines performing electro-mechanical assembly of electronic products and support equipment.
+ Must be able to understand and work from engineering drawings and sketches and follow written and verbal work instructions.
+ Must be able and willing to work additional hours when required, including weekends as needed.
+ Perform repetitive to non-repetitive assembly operations of electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies on ordnance products.
+ Perform duties assisting team members in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities, troubleshooting and transitioning products into production.
- Skills Required
- + Required skills include proficient use of electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools and hand tools.
Specific skills include:
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches.
+ Precision and fine motor skills required for micro/nano scale fabrication, assembly, test with near zero defects.
+ Must be able to demonstrate high degree of mechanical aptitude and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements.
+ Conduct tests using electronics test equipment (ie. Scopes, meters, etc) and generate test report data.
+ Must demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
+ Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety objectives and policies.
- Skills Preferred
- Preferred skills include:
- + Ability to communicate feedback to the team to support design, fabrication and test improvements.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and solve assembly issues.
+ Cirris and/or Automated Test Equipment operator experience
+ Troubleshooting of electronic and electro-mechanical systems
+ Trained and proficient in manufacturing & quality requirements of
IPC/WHMA-A-620
Class 3 and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements + Basic understanding of GD&T
- Experience Required
- + 2-year technical degree or a Minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.
