- Job Title: Lead Assembly Technician
- Job Description
- Join a dynamic, engineer-to-order company seeking a skilled Manufacturing & Assembly Technician to lead advanced mechanical and electrical assemblies. This role involves providing technical leadership on the shop floor and transforming engineering designs into high-quality finished products. You'll mentor team members and contribute to improving production processes.
- Responsibilities
- + Build complex electromechanical assemblies and prototypes from drawings, CAD models, BOMs, and schematics.
+ Integrate mechanical, electrical, and control components into finished products.
+ Inspect and test assemblies to ensure quality and specification compliance.
+ Fabricate custom brackets, panels, enclosures, and hardware.
+ Perform cutting, drilling, tapping, bending, deburring, and finishing operations.
+ Assemble and wire control panels, electrical cabinets, and enclosures.
+ Install and connect electrical components, including PLCs, relays, breakers, and terminal blocks.
+ Build wire harnesses and perform soldering, crimping, and wire terminations per schematics.
- Essential Skills
- + 5+ years of experience in custom panel building or electromechanical assembly and panel work. + Familiarity with UL 508A processes. + Experience operating or working with 3D printers. + Proficiency in electrical cabinet and control panel wiring processes.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $30.
00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
