Electrical Assembly Technician Location:
Strafford, MO Pay:
$17•19/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Tuesday-Friday | 5:30 AM•3:30 PM Why Join American Products? At American Products, our Electrical Assembly Technicians play a key role in building high-quality communication shelters and enclosures. You'll be part of a hands-on team where quality, safety, and craftsmanship matter-and where your work has a direct impact on the final product. What You'll Do Perform electrical wiring and component installation on shelters and enclosures Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions Test finished wiring and troubleshoot as needed Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools to assemble products Inspect materials and finished work for quality standards Package and prepare finished products for shipment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace Rotate between workstations as needed to support production What We're Looking For 2-3 years of electrical or manufacturing experience (or related training/certification) Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and shop documentation Experience bending conduit preferred Ability to read a tape measure and work with precision Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Problem-solving skills and commitment to quality Team-oriented with a professional, dependable attitude Work Environment & Physical Requirements Active, hands-on role: standing, walking, lifting, and assembling throughout the shift Ability to lift and move materials as needed Requires use of hands, tools, and equipment regularly Must follow all safety procedures, including wearing steel toe boots and safety glasses Additional Details No travel required No direct reports High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
