Job Description

Fabrication Mechanic (Marking) Our growing Laconia, NH client is seeking a Fabrication Mechanic for their team. If you're technically inclined, then consider this full-time, first-shift opportunity! Responsibilities of the Fabrication Mechanic (Marking) Follow engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements Use the appropriate marking method (Electro-Etch, Laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, Ink) to clearly and correctly identify materials, test pieces, and other assemblies Scan or manually enter identification requirements in computer Manually transfer ink marking onto part surfaces Apply tags, assemble shrink sleeve over marking, and set in place Identify opportunities for improvement Maintain documentation Perform additional tasks as assigned Qualifications of the Fabrication Mechanic (Marking) High school diploma or
GED, 1-3
months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong math and computer skills Knowledge of GD&T Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use micrometers and vernier calipers Ability to problem solve and adapt to changing priorities Team player who can work well independently This Fabrication Mechanic position works Monday through Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm.
