Hand Solder Technician (Electronics Manufacturing) Spinnaker Contract Manufacturing

Spinnaker Contract Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Hand Solder Technician to join our growing team in New Hampshire's beautiful Lakes Region. As a contract manufacturer serving aerospace, defense, industrial, medical, and commercial customers, quality is everything. If you enjoy working with electronics, have steady hands, and believe every solder joint matters, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Perform hand soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBAs), cable assemblies, and electromechanical products. Install and remove through-hole and surface mount (SMT) components. Complete solder touch-up, rework, and repair to IPC quality standards. Read assembly drawings, work instructions, BOMs, and engineering documentation. Inspect solder joints using magnification and identify workmanship defects. Use soldering irons, hot air equipment, tweezers, microscopes, and other precision tools. Maintain ESD compliance and follow all quality procedures. Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to meet customer expectations. What We're Looking For Experience hand soldering electronic assemblies in a manufacturing environment. Experience with through-hole and SMT rework. Ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity. Ability to identify solder defects and perform high-quality repairs. IPC-A-610 and/or
IPC J-STD-001
