Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Micro-Electronic Solderer & Assembly Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, soldering, and installation of electronic components and micro-electronic devices with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality electronic assemblies that meet strict military industry standards. Responsibilities Perform surface mount technology (SMT) soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using hand tools and power tools to ensure reliable electrical connections. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately assemble electronic components according to specifications. Build electrical panels and wire electro-mechanical assemblies following detailed blueprint instructions. Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters to verify electrical continuity and troubleshoot assembly issues. Assemble mechanical components and electro-mechanical parts, ensuring proper fit and function in accordance with IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly. Conduct quality inspections during assembly processes, adhering to industry standards for solder joints, wiring, and component placement. Skills Ability to work under a microscope Proficiency in following verbal instructions as well as reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) soldering and hand soldering techniques Familiarity with electrical wiring practices Ability to use hand tools, hot plates, soldering irons, ohmmeters, and other installation equipment effectively Understanding of IPC 610 (Class 3) standards for electronic assemblies and quality control procedures Certification in
