Experience:

3+ years of equivalent hands-on mechanical or electrical experience required Our client in the Albany, NY area is hiring multiple Assemblers for temporary-to-hire opportunities on both 1st and 2nd shifts . These are hands-on positions assembling and disassembling compressors, blowers, and related equipment using a variety of tools and equipment. Mechanical or electrical training and/or hands-on experience is required. Great opportunity for both entry-level candidates with relevant technical training and experienced candidates with hands-on mechanical backgrounds! Responsibilities of the Assembler will include: Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of compressors, blowers, and associated equipment. Assemble complete equipment packages according to assembly and wiring drawings . Perform motor and compressor alignment . Complete electrical box assembly, installation, and connections . Perform instrument wiring and piping as required. Install and assemble oil and water piping . Perform hydrostatic testing according to established procedures. Safely use common hand tools, pneumatic tools, and electric hand tools . Utilize cranes and forklifts as required to support assembly operations. Follow all established safety rules, regulations, and OSHA requirements . Qualifications for the role of

Assembler:

High school diploma or equivalent required . 3+ years' equivalent hands-on experience Ability to read and understand assembly and wiring drawings . Candidates with backgrounds in auto mechanics, automotive repair, car building, mechanical assembly, or related hands-on mechanical work are encouraged to apply. Comfortable using hand, pneumatic, and electric power tools . Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform hands-on assembly work. Ability to follow technical instructions and established safety procedures . Experience with mechanical equipment, electrical assembly, wiring, piping, or industrial machinery is a plus.
