(Surface Mount Technology - Ball Grid Array) Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise assembly, inspection, and troubleshooting of electronic components, with a focus on BGA packages and other surface-mount devices. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality electronic products by adhering to strict manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with electro-mechanical components, advanced soldering techniques, and electrical schematics in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities Perform surface mount technology assembly, including placement of BGA and other SMT components using hand tools and automated equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately follow assembly instructions. Use precision hand tools, soldering equipment, and power tools to assemble and repair electronic circuits on PCB (Printed Circuit Board). Conduct visual inspections and functional testing of assembled units to ensure compliance with IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during assembly or testing phases, utilizing engineering troubleshooting techniques. Build electrical panels and wire electrical schematics according to blueprint specifications while following safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, inspection results, and troubleshooting activities for quality assurance purposes. Qualifications Proven experience in electronics assembly, surface mount technology (SMT), and soldering techniques including BGA rework. Strong understanding of PCB design, electrical schematic reading and interpretation, and blueprint specifications. Familiarity with electro-mechanical components, electrical wiring, and electrical panel building. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment effectively. Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies is highly desirable. Experience with machining or mechanical assembly is a plus.
