Surface-mount (SMT) Wave soldering Selective soldering of through-hole components using ERSA selective solder machines.
- leaded and lead-free Hand soldering Some daily duties:
- Performs hand assembly of post-surface mount circuit boards by following detailed written instructions.
- Reads and identifies values, orientation, and polarity of thru-hole components like capacitors, resistors, transistors, and ICs.
- Uses assembly drawings and Bill of Materials to verify part numbers and placement.
- Ensures correct part values and placement according to
IPC-A-610
Class 2 standards.- Uses basic tools and materials such as hot glue, masking, and clipping for final product assembly.
