Utilize computer-generated prints, preform layout and routing for the electrical devices on the filtration equipment which consist of 480V cables, 24VDC cables, 110V, pneumatic tubing, communication cables
Build and fabricate electrical and pneumatic mounts for electrical enclosure and devices. (Cutting materials, fabricating, welding, drilling, and tapping)
Install electrical enclosures, electrical devices, pneumatic panels, pneumatic devices, grease lube devices and communication blocks on industrial filtration equipment.
Layout, cut and welding Unistrut and cover for wire way on the filtration system for 480V cables, 24VDC cables, 110V, pneumatic tubing, communication cables, etc
Install electrical cables in wireway from the control enclosure to the various remote devices
Preform the electrical debug and support testing of the entire system on the shop floor
Install wire labels and tags as called out on the electrical drawings
Check parts that will be used for the jobs and verify that the correct parts are being used.
Maintain relationships with other departments, including Engineering, Purchasing, and Project Management
Perform the electrical debug and support testing of the system on the manufacturing shop floor
Follow all customer specifications in regards to pre-wire responsibilities

Perform general housekeeping on the shop floor
Comply with all work rules, policies and procedures including safety rules and regulations
Other duties as assigned
Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints and schematics
Ability to operate a fork truck in a safe and effective manner; current fork truck license preferred
Ability to rig, sling and use overhead crane to lift work pieces
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to use hand and power tools
Ability to hand or bench bend, steel tubing and make hydraulic hoses
Ability to tack weld
Knowledge of measuring systems, including standard and metric, the ability to read a tape measure, and perform basic math
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Must provide own basic hand tools
Must have color vision in order to work with color-coded wiring systems
High school diploma or GED equivalent
3+ years of electrical wiring experience on industrial equipment, installing pneumatic, hydraulic & lubrication systems
The position involves reading, writing, mathematics and measuring
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, and have the ability to climb, stand, stoop or kneel for extended periods of time
Must have adequate finger dexterity for machine and computer use
Must be able to climb stairs and a ladder up to ten feet
Expected to work on a manufacturing shop floor, which could involve exposure to hazards
Work surfaces may be slippery, uneven or unstable
Shop temperatures may not always be controlled and could vary from hot to cold, depending on the season
Pay:
$21.00 - $28.00 per hour
