Job Description

Pay:
$16.00 - $17.50 per hour Job description: Priority Workforce is now hiring Electromechanical Assemblers.
Position Summary:
The Electromechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling and producing high-quality transformers used in critical electrical systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and a commitment to safety and quality. Assemblers contribute directly to product reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret work orders, assembly instructions, and specifications.
  • Set up and organize the work area with appropriate tools, materials, and components.
  • Identify and gather required mechanical and electrical components.
  • Assemble core materials with correct alignment and arrangement.
  • Attach lead wires and connect electrical components using approved wiring or soldering techniques.
  • Assemble enclosures or casings to protect internal components.
  • Seal enclosures using Sonic Welding equipment or other approved methods.
  • Perform functional tests to ensure units meet specifications.
  • Inspect assembled units for defects and perform quality checks.
  • Apply labels and identification markings per specifications.
  • Communicate issues or process challenges with team leaders or supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
  • Vocational training or experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred.
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools and power tools.
  • Familiarity with wiring and soldering is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing production needs or product designs.
Shift Schedules:
Day Shift:
7am to 3:30pm M-F $16.00 per hour Swing Shift 4pm to 12:30am M-F $17.50 per hour
