Wire Harness Assembler Job Description Join our team as a Wire Harness Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in forming wire harnesses used in electronic and electrical systems. Your work will involve reading electrical wiring plans and assembling wire harnesses according to specifications using various tools and equipment. Responsibilities Follow safety standards and policies. Wear personal protective clothing. Learn to read drawings and schematics. Operate a computer effectively. Follow step-by-step assembly procedures. Meet production expectations. Participate in the Lean Program (5S Program). Essential Skills Manufacturing experience. Electrical helper or mechanical skill set. Experience with hand tools and power tools. Assembly experience. Ability to follow work instructions from a screen. Additional Skills & Qualifications Crimping and small wiring experience is beneficial. Ability to read blueprints or schematics is helpful. Bilingual abilities are advantageous. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic and punctuality. Conscientious and ethical worker. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is clean and involves sitting at a workstation with the use of touch screens. The normal shift starts at 4 am and requires 8-12 hours of work per day, with some overtime on weekends. Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Reading, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
