Soldering Pay:
$19.50/hour
Shift:
1st Shift - Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00
PM Schedule:
Full-Time; some weekend work may be required
Experience:
2-3 years preferred Position Overview We are seeking an Electronics Assembler with hands-on experience assembling and soldering printed circuit boards (PCBs/PWAs). This position is responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical components. The ideal candidate has strong soldering skills, can read blueprints/design drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs), and is comfortable performing detailed work under a microscope for extended periods. Key Responsibilities Assemble electronic and mechanical components according to drawings and work instructions Perform PCB/PWA assembly and soldering Identify electronic components and verify correct component placement Read and interpret blueprints, design drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Perform detailed soldering and rework Inspect solder joints and identify soldering defects Use a microscope for detailed assembly and inspection for extended periods Test completed products and assemblies Troubleshoot and resolve basic assembly and testing issues Select and properly use hand tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment Measure components and verify dimensions and tolerances Complete labor and production records accurately Enter and retrieve information using computer systems Follow established quality standards and manufacturing procedures Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2-3 years of electronics assembly, PCB/PWA, or soldering experience preferred
IPC-A-610
certification or working knowledge Hands-on experience soldering printed circuit boards Ability to identify electronic components Ability to read blueprints, design drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Understanding of manufacturing and quality standards Ability to recognize solder defects and workmanship issues Strong fine motor skills and attention to detail Comfortable using a microscope for extended periods Basic computer skills Ability to follow detailed work instructions and standard procedures English proficiency required Preferred Backgrounds Candidates with previous experience as an Electronics Assembler, PCB Assembler, Circuit Board Assembler, PWA Assembler, Soldering Technician, Electronic Technician, or Electronic Manufacturing Technician are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience with electronic testing, troubleshooting, rework, quality inspection, and IPC standards is a plus.
Compensation & Schedule Pay:
$19.50/hour 1st
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM Some weekend work may be required as needed.
