Main duties include working with mechanical team to complete assemblies, hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies, frame assemblies and much more. This position serves to support manufacturing operations in the form of maximizing production output via accurate and expedient machine assembly and reports to the Production Manager. Hours for this position are Monday thru Thursday 6 am to 4:30 pm with any overtime on Friday as needed.
  • Mechanical assembly of machines and components as specified per prints
  • Layout, assemble and install hydraulic/pneumatic components as specified per prints
  • Identify proper tubing sizes from schematics
  • Fabricate and install hydraulic tubing, fittings, and valves as directed Job Requirements
  • Basic print reading skills
  • 1-3 years of experience in a mechanical/industrial environment with Machine Building from prints/models preferred
  • Good troubleshooting ability, manual dexterity
  • Machine Building Experience from prints/models
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Must be able to perform the job functions including climbing ladders and working with aerial platforms when needed.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Quality conscious individual with good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with shop tools and provide your own set of tools with toolbox.
  • Good attendance required - if you have trouble showing up to work on time and consistently and ready to work, do not apply.
Experience Preferred but
Not Required:
  • Associates degree in Electro/Mechanical Technology, or equivalent
  • Previous experience in an industrial and/or machine building setting working with machine processes
  • Rigging/heavy component moving
  • Understanding of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding of the functions of standard hydraulic/pneumatic components
  • Experience with industrial equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical assembly preferred
  • Tube bending/running a plus
Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
