Myers Mechanical Solutions is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Technician to join our production team. This position is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components and control systems used in mechanical and HVAC-related equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, is comfortable reading wiring diagrams and schematics, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. Responsibilities Assemble electrical panels, controls, wiring harnesses, and related components according to drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, blueprints, and production documentation. Install and connect electrical components including relays, contactors, switches, terminal blocks, transformers, sensors, motors, and control devices. Cut, strip, terminate, label, route, and organize wiring. Perform point-to-point wiring and verify connections for accuracy. Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and electrical testing equipment safely and correctly. Inspect completed assemblies for workmanship, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Troubleshoot wiring and assembly issues and make corrections as needed. Test electrical assemblies and components before final completion. Assist with equipment assembly and integration with mechanical components. Maintain accurate production, material, and job-related documentation. Properly track labor and materials to assigned jobs or work orders. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow company safety procedures and electrical safety requirements. Communicate material shortages, design discrepancies, equipment issues, or production concerns to the Production Manager. Work with sheet metal fabricators, technicians, and other production team members to complete projects on schedule. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in electrical assembly, control panel wiring, industrial electrical work, HVAC controls, manufacturing, or a related field preferred. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Basic understanding of electrical components and wiring practices. Ability to use a multimeter and basic electrical testing equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to accurately follow drawings, instructions, and specifications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Control panel assembly HVAC equipment Low-voltage controls Industrial electrical systems VFDs Relays and contactors Motors PLC or control wiring Reading electrical schematics Electrical troubleshooting

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
