The Printed Electronics Assembler is involved in all aspects of membrane switch assembly and test production. Sets-up and operates Flex Laminator. Applies encapsulant over SMD components Hand applies individual switch layers, insulating tape, overlays to circuit pack layer and membrane switch to subpanel when required. Crimps and applies housings of terminal pins using Manual, Auto or Berg Crimper when needed. Follows industry standard ESD protocol Tests circuit electrical function using a Mistral Keypad Tester Packages finished product in a manner to prevent damage in shipping Verifies product conformance to customer specification Must haves: High school diploma or equivalent required. Skills and abilities crucial to success in this role: Strong problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the use of proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, and clarity in the meaning and intent. Ability to interpret DT switch map, blueprints, diagrams and drawings. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Ability to remain open to others ideas and willingness to try new things. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to work independently without continued support from others. Excellent attention to detail
