Monday-Friday | 1st & 2nd Shift Opportunities Mechanical Assembler Express Employment Professionals is hiring Mechanical Assemblers for a large manufacturing company in Oxnard, CA. We are looking for mechanically inclined candidates who enjoy working with their hands, using tools, and building or repairing equipment. You do not need to come directly from CNC manufacturing. Candidates with experience in mechanical assembly, automotive repair, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, equipment repair, or other hands-on mechanical work are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components and equipment using hand and power tools Follow detailed step-by-step work instructions Use an iPad/tablet to access assembly instructions Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and schematics Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Install and properly align mechanical components Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy Follow all production and safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized workstation Meet daily production and quality expectations Qualifications Previous mechanical, assembly, manufacturing, automotive, construction, maintenance, or similar hands-on experience Strong mechanical aptitude Experience using hand and power tools Comfortable building, repairing, installing, or taking apart mechanical components Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Experience Mechanical assembly Automotive mechanic or automotive repair Machine building Industrial or equipment maintenance Manufacturing or production Construction or skilled trades Blueprint/schematic reading Calipers and micrometers CNC or industrial machinery CNC machine assembly experience is a plus, but not required.
