ABOUT THE ROLE

Do you like working with your hands and taking vehicles apart? H&H Auto Parts is hiring Dismantlers to safely and efficiently pull high-quality auto parts and usable core components. You'll work in a busy shop and yard on a team that values accuracy, productivity and safety.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Put assigned vehicles on the hoist in the right order Drain vehicle fluids following environmental and safety procedures Inspect vehicles and write down what you find Remove mechanical and electrical components Tag, label and store parts in their assigned areas Get the production manager's sign-off on completed dismantle sheets Return vehicles to their spots in the yard Dismantle at least six vehicles per week while making the most of shop time Help out with other duties as needed

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Automotive, mechanical or shop experience preferred Ability to use hand and power tools safely Basic mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail Basic documentation and tagging skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions High school diploma or GED preferred Team player who is dependable, on time and hardworking, with good communication skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work happens in a shop and yard with noise, weather and mechanical equipment Standing and walking for long periods (50-75% of the time) Bending, stooping, kneeling and climbing (25-49% of the time) Lifting and handling auto parts Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Pay & Benefits Base Pay + Commission Company-Paid Health Insurance PTO & Holiday Pay Retirement Plan Year-Round Work Requirements Mechanical/auto experience preferred
