Job Description
About the Role As an Electric Motor Assembler, you will be instrumental in the lifecycle of high-performance propulsion systems, ensuring that every unit meets rigorous quality and safety benchmarks. By applying your technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, you will contribute to the reliability of critical transportation infrastructure. Responsibilities Execute the full assembly, disassembly, and precision adjustment of motor units to ensure optimal performance and adherence to engineering specifications. Perform comprehensive inbound inspections and component staging, utilizing specialized tooling to maintain high-efficiency workflows. Conduct critical testing procedures, including electrical, insulation, surge, balance, and vibration analysis to validate system integrity. Install bearings and manage complex internal components such as rotors, stators, and insulation systems. Maintain a high-standard, organized workspace by supporting 6S initiatives and proactively caring for precision tools. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot production hurdles and refine assembly processes for continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems diagnostics and repair. Strong aptitude for reading technical drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation. Ability to accurately record production data in both written and electronic formats. Commitment to EHS protocols and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment. Preferred Skills Prior experience with heavy equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting. Hands-on familiarity with hydraulic systems and complex component maintenance. Proven ability to work effectively in diverse environmental conditions.
