Read and follow SOPs, engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions. Use computer systems to review documentation and record completed work. Troubleshoot and perform basic mechanical repairs on engines and sub-assemblies. Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and safe equipment operation. Verify fasteners, seals, and components meet torque and quality requirements. Perform visual and functional quality inspections. Work with team members to meet production schedules. Complete required training and skills assessments. Support general production and assembly tasks as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Meet attendance, performance, and quality expectations. Essential Skills Hands-on experience in an industrial or mechanical role, such as automotive, diesel repair, farming, construction, maintenance, or facilities. Experience using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, DC tools, and torque equipment. Strong mechanical skills beyond basic assembly or power tool use. Ability to read and follow work instructions, SOPs, blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings. Basic computer skills to review instructions, access drawings, and document completed work. Ability to pass written and hands-on assessments during training. Comfortable working with heavy components and safely using cranes, hoists, and lifting devices. Ability to follow quality standards and produce high-quality assemblies. Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to wear required PPE, including safety-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection. Ability to understand technical instructions and explain mechanical processes clearly.
