Inside the Role As part of the Cleveland TMP team, you are responsible for assembling and installing truck components for heavy-duty trucks. The candidate for this position will have a passion for process improvements, a keen eye to detail, and love numbers. USD Hourly Responsibilities:
Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput Install and assemble components for heavy-duty trucks Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy Operate the following tools and equipment: jigs and fixtures, pneumatic and DC tools for fasteners and assembly of heavy-duty trucks
Basic Required Skills & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment that requires the ability to lift, carry and pull and push moderate to heavy equipment, tools and parts Must be able to read and write in English and conduct basic math The ability to work overtime including weekends Willingness and ability to work any shift An attached resume
Basic Preferred Skills & Experience:
Heavy Truck Assembly knowledge Auto Mechanical, auto electrical/wiring, or auto paint experience Where We Work This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)- Cleveland, NC US. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
