The Powers Equipment Company is a manufacturer of quality commercial refrigeration systems and we are seeking several new people to join the team in our busy manufacturing department. We are seeking technicians at various skill levels. Current openings are targeting positions in our sheet metal department, but we will consider all types of shop experience. We are willing to train those with mechanical skills in our methods and systems. Pay rates vary depending upon your skill level and experience and are above average for the industry.

Responsibilities:

Work with a team to assemble entire products or components Rotate through tasks for specific production processes Conduct quality inspections on products and parts Prepare finished products for shipment Maintain a clean and orderly work area Skills Highly Desired but not Required Brazing copper/brass fittings Sheet Metal

• Brake, Shear Spot Welding Powder Coat Painting Hand Tool Assembly Required Qualifications:

  Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields preferred Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
• hand drills, hand tools Ability to handle physical workload
• lift up to 60 lbs Ability to work well in teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Reads tape measure accurately Has basic math skills
