Manufacturing / Assembly Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Germantown, WI. The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to work instructions, blueprints, and production specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, good attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with previous mechanical assembly, production, or hands-on manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components, parts, and subassemblies according to work orders and production specifications. Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, assembly instructions, and bills of materials. Gather, organize, and prepare components and tools needed for assembly. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete assembly tasks. Install fasteners, brackets, fittings, motors, and other mechanical components as required. Measure and inspect parts to ensure proper fit, alignment, and quality. Identify defective components, assembly issues, or discrepancies and report them to the appropriate personnel. Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments as needed. Maintain accurate production records and follow established quality standards. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies. Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals. Qualifications and Requirements Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new assembly processes. Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment. Ability to use a tape measure and perform basic mathematical calculations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good organizational skills and the ability to manage assigned tasks efficiently. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday. Ability to lift materials and components as required by the position. Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in mechanical assembly, equipment assembly, fabrication, or production. Experience reading technical drawings or blueprints. Familiarity with quality inspection procedures and measuring tools. Experience using pneumatic tools, power tools, or torque tools. Forklift experience is a plus, where applicable.
