Job Description

Aerotek is hiring for Mechanical Assemblers in Kenosha and Racine Wisconsin Job Description Mechanical Assemblers will work as part of a small team to build components and completed products. This role involves extensive mechanical assembly using hand and power tools and operating overhead cranes to move heavy materials. The assembler follows blueprints and specifications to complete assemblies and performs leak testing to ensure quality and reliability of the finished products. Responsibilities Complete large scale assemblies in teams of 1-3, following blueprints, work instructions, and specifications. Use hand tools and power tools to perform mechanical assembly tasks and securely fasten parts and components. Operate overhead cranes to safely lift, position, and move heavy parts and assemblies within the shop. Work across multiple assembly areas to build both individual parts and complete systems. Perform tests on completed product to verify quality and ensure proper performance. Measure and verify components using a tape measure to maintain accuracy and alignment during assembly. Follow safety procedures and guidelines when working with tools, equipment, overhead cranes, and at elevated heights. Maintain a clean and organized work area within the assembly and fabrication shop. Collaborate with team members and the Assembly Supervisor to meet production targets and support new product lines, including radiators for data centers. Work Environment This role is based in an assembly and fabrication shop that builds industrial radiators for warehouses, production facilities, and data centers. The facility is clean and organized. Work is performed on either first shift (5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) or second shift (1:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday), providing defined schedules and consistent hours. The position reports to the Assembly Supervisor and involves daily use of hand and power tools, overhead cranes, ladders, and scissor lifts in an active, production-focused environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
