Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. About the Position Top Tier Graphics is looking for a dependable, organized, and highly detail-oriented Embroidery Quality Control Specialist to join our embroidery department. This position is responsible for completing the final steps of the embroidery production process. Primary responsibilities include trimming finished embroidered garments, carefully inspecting each item, counting completed garments, sorting them by style and size, and packaging orders for the customer. Although this position works within an embroidery department of approximately three to four employees, the quality control and finishing responsibilities are primarily handled by one person. The right candidate must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, and comfortable managing their daily workload with limited supervision. Primary Responsibilities Trim excess embroidery thread and backing from completed garments Inspect finished embroidery for quality, accuracy, and cleanliness Identify garments with defects, damage, missing embroidery, or other quality concerns Count completed garments and confirm quantities against the order paperwork Sort garments accurately by style, color, and size Fold and organize garments neatly for packaging Box completed orders according to company standards Label completed boxes and prepare orders for shipping or customer pickup Communicate quality concerns or order discrepancies to the embroidery team Work closely with embroidery machine operators to keep orders moving efficiently Help ensure that every completed order is accurate, organized, and professionally presented Maintain a clean and organized quality control and finishing area What We Are Looking For Exceptional attention to detail Strong counting, sorting, and organizational skills Ability to notice small embroidery defects, loose threads, stains, damage, or incorrect garments Ability to work independently and remain productive without constant supervision Patience and consistency when completing repetitive tasks Ability to manage multiple orders while keeping garments separated and organized Clear and professional communication with coworkers Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to recognize problems and bring them to the appropriate team member's attention Willingness to learn our quality standards and internal order processes Previous embroidery, apparel, quality control, warehouse, or production experience is helpful but not required Physical Requirements The essential functions of this position include: Standing or working on your feet for most of an eight-hour shift Using scissors and other small hand tools for repetitive trimming tasks Regularly handling, folding, sorting, and counting garments Reaching, bending, and placing completed garments into boxes Regularly lifting, carrying, and moving boxes of finished apparel Performing detailed and repetitive work throughout the day This position is located in a fully air-conditioned work area. Our Embroidery Quality Control Specialist plays an important role in making sure each order meets our quality standards before it reaches the customer. This person is responsible for the final appearance, accuracy, organization, and presentation of our completed embroidery orders.
