The primary focus of this position is to perform the finish work on high-end composite performance products. As a composite part finisher, you will be responsible for the last step of the manufacturing process which consists of accurately trimming, sanding and performing finish work on laminated components. This is a great position for someone who has an entry-level knowledge of/ability to use hand tools such as air saws, DA's, buffers, etc. but does not require years of body shop or composite related experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED

Ability to use tools such as air saws, DA's, sanders, buffers, etc. Willingness to learn, accept feedback and advance skill set Maintain quality by following procedures and keeping work area in an orderly condition by returning tools and equipment to storage areas Good attitude, ability to work with a team and manage time effectively Able to stand for long periods, lift 50lbs and follow safety procedures

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED

This position requires an entry-level knowledge of tools and techniques commonly used in auto body shops or composite part finishing. The ability to effectively use hand tools such as air saws, DA's, buffers, etc. is ideal. Some auto body experience and/or knowledge of composites are beneficial but not required.

HOURS OF WORK

Full-time Monday through Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm. Performance reviews after 30-60-90 days. Overtime as needed.
