DOE Shift Premium:

$1.50 per hour

Position Responsibilities:

Operate polishers, buffers, and/or other special equipment Safely operate machinery for polishing, buffing, and dull brushing Use specialty machinery (belt sanders, grinders, buffers) and abrasive compounds to smooth and shine metal parts Wear special dept protective equipment/suit Inspect parts for imperfections, defects, cracks, etc Keep work area clean and safe at all times Must have attention to detail and work in a very safe manner Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary Required to hold pipe up to 10 pounds for at least 10 minutes at a time Follow all safety procedures Must be able to work in a team setting Must be able to stand for long periods of time Work area can become warm during summer months CompX National is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
