2987667358-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Fortrex Solutions is seeking a Food Production Sanitation professional in Liberal, KS to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant production environment. In this on-site role, you will clean and sanitize food processing equipment, lines, and facilities according to strict SOPs, regulatory standards, and client requirements. You will handle sanitation chemicals safely, complete documentation, and partner with production and quality teams to reduce contamination risks and downtime, supporting high-quality, consistent operations aligned with our integrity and accountability values. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize food production lines, equipment, and work areas to regulatory and company standards Follow detailed sanitation schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Handle and mix cleaning chemicals safely and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Inspect equipment and areas after cleaning to verify readiness for production Document sanitation activities, checklists, and any issues found or corrected Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and contamination risk Identify and report safety, maintenance, or contamination hazards immediately Support internal audits and regulatory inspections related to sanitation and food safety Required Skills Industrial sanitation procedures Food safety and hygiene standards Safe chemical handling Use of cleaning and sanitation equipment Understanding of SOPs and checklists Basic written documentation Attention to detail Time management in shift-based work PPE use and safety practices Teamwork and communication
