Industrial Maintenance Technician•Food Manufacturing Lawrence, MA | $30•35 per hour + benefits

Overnight Shift | 8:00 PM•6:30 AM | 4 x 10.5-hour days About the Opportunity We're partnering with a growing food production company in Lawrence, MA that is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician•Food Manufacturing to support overnight production operations. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, fixing equipment, and keeping a fast-paced manufacturing operation running smoothly. You'll work on production machinery, conveyors, pumps, packaging equipment, motors, PLCs, VFDs, electrical controls, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems . What You'll Be Doing Perform preventive maintenance to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues. Work on motors, conveyors, pumps, packaging machines, and other production equipment. Diagnose faults involving PLCs, VFDs, relays, fuse boxes, HMIs, and industrial control systems . Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery and equipment components. Complete maintenance records and work orders using a CMMS or similar system . Follow all safety, food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and lockout/tagout procedures . Partner with production and sanitation teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance. What They're Looking For 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience required. Experience in food, beverage, packaging, manufacturing, or production environments preferred. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems . Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, relays, HMIs, and electrical controls . Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. High school diploma or GED required. Technical school, trade school, or maintenance training preferred. Clear communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently during an overnight shift. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Comfortable standing, bending, crouching, and working around production machinery. Able to work in an industrial environment with noise, equipment, and active production areas.
