From the wood shop to upholstery and metalwork, we are the dream place to work for any artisan. We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented furniture maker with experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will craft high-quality custom wood furniture pieces. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of furniture-making experience. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and construction plans to produce custom furniture pieces accurately. Required to assist with any offsite installs when needed. (Valid driver's license) Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently to cut, shape, assemble, and finish furniture components. Measure, cut, assemble, and finish wood and other materials used in furniture fabrication with precision. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor to move large materials or finished products safely. Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols, including power tool safety practices and proper handling of construction materials. Qualifications Proven experience in woodworking, carpentry, or furniture making Proficient with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physically capable of handling demanding tasks on-site or in the workshop. Excellent understanding of wood construction materials, including different types of wood and finishing products. Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
