The Shop Help position will assist mechanics in the repair and maintenance of trucks, machinery and equipment by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Cleans disassembled parts and equipment. Obtains parts from various vendors and shop inventory, as needed. Completes daily task list to include cleaning and organizing of shop parts, supplies, tools, equipment. Provides assistance to Mechanics and other employees, as needed. Complies with and follows all safety regulations. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience Must have a valid driver's license and must be insurable by the Company's vehicle insurance. The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
