Job Description

Job Title:
Entry-Level Machinist /
Deburr & Finishing Technician Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Machinist / Deburr & Finishing Technician to join our growing machine shop team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in machining and manufacturing. No extensive experience required—we provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Perform deburring, polishing, and finishing of machined and fabricated parts Follow job schedules, work instructions, and production priorities Read and interpret blueprints and part drawings (training available) Inspect parts using measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications Operate shop equipment including grinders, sanders, and bead blasters Assist with basic machining tasks as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Equipment & Tools:
Digital calipers, micrometers, and height gauges Grinders, bead blasters, disc sanders, and belt sanders Manual lathes and mills (training provided)
Qualifications:
Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply—willingness to learn is key Basic math skills Mechanical aptitude or interest in machining/manufacturing Ability to read blueprints (or willingness to learn) Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable, team-oriented, and able to follow instructions
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods Ability to perform repetitive tasks with good hand dexterity Comfortable working in a shop environment (noise, dust, fumes, temperature changes)

Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
