Job Description

Basic Operator Title:
Basic Operator Location:
Ontario, CA Pay rate: $17.50 per hour
Schedule:
MondayThursday, 5:00 AM3:30 PM (
Occasional Fridays:
5:00 AM10:00 AM)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Basic Machine Operator to join a manufacturing company. The ideal candidate must be able to follow instructions, operate machinery, and handle small metal parts safely. Candidates must also be able to understand and speak English, pay attention to detail, and follow all safety requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Load metal parts into the machine and make sure they are positioned correctly. Start the machine by pressing a button or lever. Monitor the machine while it is running. Use an air nozzle when needed to remove excess oil or debris. Remove finished parts from the machine and place them in containers. Check finished parts to make sure they meet the required instructions and blueprints.
Requirements:
Ability to listen to and follow instructions. Good English speaking, reading, and writing skills. High school diploma.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing and walking, with occasional sitting. Ability to lift 1040 lbs. Work around machinery, noise, and oil mist. Hearing and eye protection are required and provided.
Safety Requirements:
Wear pants; shorts are not allowed. Wear oil-resistant, slip-resistant shoes. No dangling earrings, facial jewelry, rings, or bracelets. #ARROW
